National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) Exam

The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) conducts the Grade A Officer examination to recruit candidates for the post of Assistant Manager in the bank. The NABARD Grade A examination is a highly competitive exam and is conducted in two phases:

Phase I:

  • This is a preliminary examination that consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) in subjects such as general awareness, reasoning, English language, quantitative aptitude, and computer knowledge. The time duration of the examination is usually 120 minutes and it carries a total of 200 marks.

Phase II:

  • This is the Main examination which includes
    • Paper I is for Economic and Social Issues and Agriculture and Rural Development
    • Paper II is for English Language

The Main examination is usually held online and it carries a total of 200 marks. The time duration for the main examination is usually 120 minutes for each paper.

Phase III:

  • This is an interview round. Interviews are usually held for the candidates who qualify in the Main examination. The Interview is conducted for a total of 50 marks

The final selection is based on the candidate’s performance in the written examination and interview.

In order to be eligible for the NABARD Grade A examination, the candidates must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university and must meet the age criteria as specified by the commission. The age limit for the NABARD Grade A exam is 21-30 years.
