Sources and rights

The lessons, explanations, practice questions, study tables and teaching diagrams are original material prepared for Pareeksha. External sources supply factual cross-checks only; no protected textbook prose, question wording or illustrations have been reproduced. The chapter-level source and rights register records source use, uncertainties and map provenance. Original practice items are not official previous-year questions.

The Andhra Pradesh outline on the cover is derived from public-domain Natural Earth geography. Chapter visuals are original schematic drawings; each caption states when it shows present-day orientation rather than historical boundaries.

How the fact checks were used

The source register is a research log, not a claim that any one source settles every historical question. Official legal texts are used for enacted dates and institutional provisions; Parliament and government records help confirm constitutional and administrative chronology; NIOS and NCERT materials provide curricular cross-checks; the Archaeological Survey of India, district portals and Ministry of Culture records help check site and regional associations. Where two records conflict on a precise date or count, the book avoids turning the disputed detail into a keyed fact. A present-day district label is treated as a locator, never as proof of a historical boundary.

Originality and reuse

All explanatory prose, practice questions, answer explanations, tables and diagrams in this edition were written or drawn for this guide. The external works listed in the companion source register were consulted for factual orientation; no textbook question, protected passage, photograph or illustration is reproduced. Short factual names, dates and event associations are stated in new wording. The practice questions are not presented as previous-year questions and do not reproduce any official or commercial question bank.

Maps are schematic teaching locators, not survey or historical-boundary maps. They omit uncertain borders and show present-day orientation where noted; plotted points do not prove routes, movement scale or political control. Timelines distinguish proposal, decision, enactment, adoption and commencement. Check current administrative labels against the linked official sources.
