Architecture questions test three separate skills at once: naming the style (Nagara/Dravida/Vesara), naming the dynasty that built it, and naming the specific monument. Most students know two out of three and guess the connecting fact — that's the gap this book closes.

1. Turn the core pairing into a picture, not a sentence. Picture the tower shapes literally: Nagara's Shikhara as a curved beehive rising straight up; Dravida's Vimana as a stepped pyramid with a tall gopurum gate in front, like a fortress guarding a temple; Vesara as the two shapes awkwardly fused into one.

2. Chain related items into one storyline instead of a disconnected list. Chain the three Panipat-adjacent Mughal monuments to their builders in a single reign-by-reign story — Babur founds the empire, Akbar builds Fatehpur Sikri, Shah Jahan builds the Taj — rather than memorising each monument's builder as an isolated fact.

3. Use the Master Reference Table as your recall drill, not your reading material. Read this book once for understanding, then close it and try to reproduce the Master Reference Table from memory — that act of forcing information back out of your head (active recall) teaches you far more per minute than a fifth re-read ever will.

4. Space your repetition. Test yourself on Day 1, then Day 2, then Day 4, then Day 7 — each successful recall should stretch the gap before the next one. The Flash Check and 7-Day Revision Plan at the end of this book are built to enforce exactly this rhythm; use them rather than jumping straight to the quiz.
