- Anushilan Samiti vs Jugantar: Anushilan Samiti (1902) is the parent body; Jugantar (1906) is often treated as its more militant Calcutta-centred offshoot — questions sometimes test which came first (Anushilan).
- Kakori (1925) vs Chittagong (1930): Kakori was a train robbery in UP led by the HRA; Chittagong was an armoury raid in Bengal led by Surya Sen — a common mix-up.
- Ghadar Party founding location: San Francisco, USA — NOT India or Canada (though it had strong Canadian membership too).
- Bhagat Singh's organisation: HSRA (1928), not HRA — the HRA was renamed/reorganised in 1928.
