Day 2: Europe in full, with special focus on the EU-vs-eurozone distinction (27 members, 20 euro-users, plus the four unilateral euro-adopters). Spend five minutes re-reciting Day 1's SAARC/ASEAN member lists from memory before starting new material.
Day 3: Africa in full, with the CFA franc zones as the centrepiece — drill the eight West African and six Central African CFA franc countries as two separate closed lists until you can produce both without hesitation.
Day 4: North America, South America, and Oceania — these three continents combined are shorter than Africa alone, so use the spare time to also complete the Countries With More Than One Capital table from memory (all ten countries, correctly matched to their split functions).
Day 5: Recently Changed Capitals and Country Names, plus Currency-Name Families. Read the renamed-countries table forward (old→new) and then backward (new→old); then work through every currency-name family and be able to name at least three member countries for each.
Day 6: Full active recall day, book closed: work through India's Neighbours, Blocs at a Glance (G7/G20/BRICS/Commonwealth), and Common Exam Traps unaided, then attempt the Flash Check and go back only to the questions you missed.
Day 7: Timed final drill — 25 minutes, no notes: write every country you can recall organised by continent (not by the book's sub-region order), with capital and currency alongside each — this cross-cuts your original reading pattern and exposes any facts you only ever encoded in one direction. Compare against the book and mark the genuine gaps for a short top-up review before your exam.
