A spaced-repetition schedule built specifically for this book's sport-by-sport structure.

  • Day 1: Read "How to Actually Memorise This Book," then the full Cricket Trophies section (domestic, international, and T20 leagues). Build your own "sport folder" for cricket alone — write out every trophy name from memory before checking the tables, then correct only what you missed.
  • Day 2: Football Trophies and Hockey Trophies. Pay special attention to India's Olympic hockey golden-era numbers (six consecutive golds, then a 41-year gap) — this is one of the highest-yield single facts in the whole book. Spend five minutes re-reciting Day 1's cricket trophy-to-sport pairings from memory first.
  • Day 3: Tennis and Badminton. Drill the four tennis Grand Slams in calendar order with surfaces until you can say them in under ten seconds, then do the same for the three badminton team trophies and their namesakes.
  • Day 4: Other Sports (Kabaddi, Chess, Wrestling, Boxing, Athletics, Golf). This section is the most current-affairs-dense in the book — treat the Gukesh and Neeraj Chopra facts as unmissable, then skim the rest for recognition rather than deep recall.
  • Day 5: Multi-Sport Events (Olympics, Asian Games, Commonwealth Games, National Games). Build a single host-city timeline across all three international Games from memory, then check it against the tables — this cross-Games recall is exactly what examiners test when they ask "which of these Games was NOT held in [year]."
  • Day 6: Trophy Name Origins, Sport-to-Trophy Matching Tables, Unique Trophy Facts, and Common Exam Traps. Read the Common Exam Traps section twice — once normally, once specifically hunting for which trap you would have personally fallen for a week ago.
  • Day 7: Timed final drill — attempt the full Flash Check below unaided in one sitting, ideally under 40 minutes. Mark only genuine gaps (not near-misses) for a short top-up review, then re-run the Mnemonic Index as a last self-test, covering the "Covers" column and reproducing it from the trigger phrase alone.
