Quick-Revision Fact Tables: Education Institutions, School Programmes and Curriculum

What to remember

  • Know the body, the year and the job. Most teacher-exam questions ask who set up an institution, when, and what it does.
  • Know the policy ladder. Commissions and policies come in a fixed order, from Wood's Despatch to NEP 2020. Learn the sequence once and use it for every question.
  • Scheme names change, purposes stay. AP and the Centre rename school programmes from time to time. Remember what a programme does; for the current name check the latest official release.
