A short, spaced-repetition schedule for this chapter specifically — each day builds on active recall of the previous one, not re-reading.
- Day 1: Read the full chapter once, slowly, building a vs.-image for every battle as you go. Do not try to memorise dates yet — just build the pictures.
- Day 2: Close the book. Try to reproduce the Master Timeline Table from memory, in order, with winner/loser. Check it, note every gap.
- Day 3: Drill only the clusters (Panipats, Carnatic Wars, Anglo-Mysore, Anglo-Maratha, Anglo-Sikh, Tarain I & II) using the Mnemonic Index — cover the "Key Point" columns and recite them from the hook alone.
- Day 4: Work through every Practice Recall box in the chapter without peeking at the answer first; mark any you got wrong.
- Day 5: Attempt the full Flash Check (22+ Questions) cold, in one sitting, timing yourself; re-read only the entries you missed.
- Day 6: Rebuild the location-name pegs (Panipat, Karnal, Wandiwash) from scratch on blank paper, then re-attempt yesterday's missed Flash Check questions.
- Day 7: Full closed-book recall: Master Timeline Table plus Mnemonic Index, both from memory, then a final pass through Flash Check. Anything still shaky goes on a 3-day recall loop until it sticks.
End of Book 6. Continue with Book 7: Governor-Generals and Viceroys — Complete Timeline.
