State Memory Pegs

Rather than one all-India mnemonic (none is universally standardised), aspirants generally build small story-pegs per state cluster. A few well-known examples, worth adapting to whichever states you personally find hardest:

Madhya Pradesh: "Sanjay and Madhav were driving a Van on Saturday to Bandhav forest to Punch Kanha, then went Achanak to a Guru" → Sanjay (Bandhavgarh's older name lineage), Van Vihar, Satpura, Bandhavgarh, Pench, Kanha — and, stretching into Chhattisgarh, Achanakmar and Guru Ghasidas.

Andhra Pradesh / Telangana: "Rajiv Gandhi went to the Venkateswara temple and met his friend Papi" → Rajiv Gandhi (Nagarjunasagar-Srisailam link), Sri Venkateswara NP, Papikonda NP.

Gujarat sanctuaries: "A wild Lion rode a wild Ass past a Nal full of blackbuck" → Gir (lion), Little Rann Wild Ass Sanctuary, Nal Sarovar (birds), Velavadar Blackbuck NP.

Tamil Nadu birds: "The Point took Calimere's flamingo to Vedanthangal's stork party" — pairs Point Calimere and Vedanthangal as the state's two standout bird sites.
