A spaced-repetition schedule built specifically for this book — each day layers active recall on top of what you last revised, rather than starting over from page one.

  • Day 1 — First pass: Read the whole book once, straight through, including "How to Actually Memorise This Book." Don't try to memorise yet; just build the map. At the end, attempt the SI Units Practice Recall box cold.
  • Day 2 — Mechanics, simple machines, gravitation, and fluid mechanics: Re-read the motion equations, Newton's laws, work-energy-power, simple machines, gravitation, and Pascal/Archimedes/Bernoulli. Drill the "Inertia, Impact, Interaction" and "FLE" and "PAB" mnemonics until you can state all of them unaided. Attempt the corresponding Practice Recall box.
  • Day 3 — Electricity, magnetism, optics, waves, semiconductors, and famous scientists: Re-read Ohm's Law, series/parallel resistance, magnetism and Fleming's rules, the mirror and lens formulas, the Doppler Effect, and the semiconductor/electronics one-liners. Drill the scientists table and the Nobel laureates table until you can name all the discoveries cold. Attempt the electricity Practice Recall box, then skim Day 1–2 material for ten minutes (your first spaced repeat).
  • Day 4 — All of Chemistry, plus space/ISRO facts: Re-read atomic structure, the periodic table groups, chemical bonding, the common-name/formula table, the pH/acids-bases-salts section, ores and alloys, organic chemistry basics, and the everyday-life one-liners — then loop back to Physics for the Space and ISRO section, since it pairs naturally with this exam bracket's love of applied/current facts. Drill the "common-name" table and the ores/alloys tables specifically. Attempt the corresponding Practice Recall box.
  • Day 5 — Taxonomy, cell biology, and human body systems: Re-read the taxonomy hierarchy, cell organelles, all five body-system tables, the skeletal system in detail, blood groups, and the endocrine system. Drill "King Phillip Came Over For Good Soup," "Never Mistake Ribosomes, Every Golgi Loves Coffee, Very much," and "DR CNS" until automatic. Attempt the human-body Practice Recall box, then re-skim Day 2–3 material (second spaced repeat).
  • Day 6 — Diseases, microbiology, vitamins, genetics, plants, ecology, and biologists: Re-read the diseases table, microbiology basics, the vitamin-deficiency table (the single highest-yield table in the entire book), Mendel's laws, DNA vs RNA, plant biology, ecology basics (including the biodiversity hotspots), and the expanded famous-biologists table. Drill "ADEK stays, BC flows," the head-to-toe vitamin tour, and "HIWS" until you can recite all three without hesitation. Attempt both corresponding Practice Recall boxes.
  • Day 7 — Full retrieval test: Close the book. Work through all Flash Check questions from memory, then the entire Mnemonic Index (cover the decode column), then the Cross-Subject Rapid Facts table. Only re-open the book to check answers and patch specific gaps — this is pure retrieval, the highest-yield hour of the whole week.

A memory aid for the general-science layer of competitive exams, not a substitute for a school-level science textbook — verify any numeric value you plan to quote precisely before an exam-critical answer.
