RBI Grade B Exam Application Fee
The application fee for the RBI Grade B Exam varies based on the candidate’s category:
Candidates must have a minimum of 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD) in Bachelor’s Degree, 12th, and 10th standard examinations.
Phase I: Preliminary Examination
Candidates have to secure minimum qualifying marks in each section and also the overall cutoff marks to be eligible for Phase II. The marks obtained in Phase I will not be considered for final selection.
Candidates who clear Phase I are eligible for Phase II. The marks obtained in Phase II will be considered for final selection. Candidates have to secure minimum qualifying marks in each paper of Phase II and also the overall cutoff marks.
Candidates who qualify in Phase II will be shortlisted for the interview process. The interview carries 75 marks. Candidates have to secure minimum qualifying marks in the interview and also the overall cutoff marks.
The final merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in Phase II (Main Examination) and Phase III (Interview). The candidates will be selected according to their ranking in the merit list and the number of vacancies.
Phase I is an elimination round; only successful candidates proceed to Phase II
There is negative marking of 1/4th marks for each incorrect answer in both Phase I and Phase II exams
Candidates must secure minimum qualifying marks in each section of Phase I and Phase II exams
The final merit list is based on the candidate’s performance in Phase II and Phase III
RBI Grade B Language of Examination
The RBI Grade B Exam is conducted in English and Hindi languages, except for the English Language section in both Phase I and Phase II, which is only in English.
