Rule: Last two digits are 00, 25, 50, or 75. Reasoning: 100 is divisible by 25, so only last two digits matter. Example: 34,575 → last two digits 75 → divisible by 25. 34,580 → last two digits 80 → not divisible.
Example 2: Is 48,750 divisible by 25? Last two digits = 50, which is in 00,25,50,75 → divisible by 25 (48750÷25=1950 exact ✓).
Example 3: Is 12,340 divisible by 25? If not, find the remainder. Last two digits = 40, not in 00,25,50,75 → not divisible by 25. Since 40-25=15, the remainder is 15 (direct check: 12340÷25=493 remainder 15 ✓).
