A short, spaced-repetition schedule for this book specifically — each day builds on active recall of the previous one, not re-reading.
- Day 1: Read both content chapters once, slowly, building a mental picture for every instrument-system-exponent triple as you go. Do not try to memorise the Master Reference Table yet — just build understanding.
- Day 2: Close the book. Try to reproduce the Master Reference Table from memory. Check it against the book, and note every gap.
- Day 3: Drill the Mnemonic Index — cover the "hook" column and recite each fact from the cue alone.
- Day 4: Re-read only the "Exam Traps" chapter, and write out each trap in your own words without copying.
- Day 5: Attempt the full Flash Check cold, in one sitting, timing yourself; mark every question you got wrong.
- Day 6: Rebuild the Master Reference Table from scratch on blank paper, then re-attempt yesterday's missed Flash Check questions.
- Day 7: Full closed-book recall: Master Reference Table plus Mnemonic Index, both from memory, then a final pass through the Flash Check. Anything still shaky goes on a 3-day recall loop until it sticks.
