Each entry below takes a genuinely long word (15+ letters) and dissects every morpheme, the way you should learn to do in your own head within a few seconds, under exam pressure.

1. Incomprehensibility (19 letters) in- (not) + com- (together/thoroughly) + prehend/prehens (to grasp/seize) + -ible (capable of being) + -ity (the quality of) → "the quality of not being capable of being thoroughly grasped" → the state of being impossible to understand.

2. Disproportionately (18 letters) dis- (not) + pro- (in relation to) + portion (a share/part) + -ate (adjective-forming) + -ly (adverb-forming) → "in a manner not in proportion to the share/part" → to an extent that is unfairly or unevenly large or small relative to something else.

3. Counterrevolutionary (20 letters) counter- (against) + re- (again) + volut (to roll, turn — from volvere) + -ion (noun) + -ary (relating to/one who) → "one relating to turning again against [a revolution]" → opposing a revolution, seeking to reverse its changes.

4. Deindustrialization (19 letters) de- (reversal) + industri (industrious, industry) + -al (relating to) + -ize (to make) + -ation (the process of) → "the process of reversing the making of [a region] industrial" → the decline of industrial activity in a region or economy.

5. Unconstitutionality (19 letters) un- (not) + con- (together, thoroughly) + stitut (to set up, establish — from statuere) + -ion (noun: a thing established) + -al (relating to) + -ity (the quality of) → "the quality of not relating to that which is thoroughly established [as law]" → the state of being in conflict with a constitution.

6. Multiculturalism (16 letters) multi- (many) + cultur (cultivation, culture) + -al (relating to) + -ism (a doctrine/practice) → "the doctrine relating to many cultures" → the practice or policy of maintaining several distinct cultures within one society.

7. Uncharacteristically (20 letters) un- (not) + character (distinguishing nature) + -ist (one who/relating to) + -ic (relating to) + -al (relating to, reinforcing) + -ly (adverb: in a manner) → "in a manner not relating to one's [usual] character" → in a way unusual for a particular person.

8. Misappropriation (16 letters) mis- (wrongly) + ap- (ad-, toward) + propri (one's own — from proprius) + -ate (verb: to make one's own) + -ion (the act of) → "the act of wrongly making [something] one's own" → the dishonest or illegal use of funds/property entrusted to someone.

9. Pseudointellectual (18 letters) pseudo- (false) + inter- (between, among — worn down here to "intel-") + leg/lect (to choose, read, gather — from legere) + -ual (relating to) → "relating to falsely [being one who] chooses/reads among [ideas]" → a person who claims or affects intellectual depth without genuine understanding.

10. Overcompensation (16 letters) over- (excessively) + com- (together, thoroughly) + pens (to weigh, pay — from pendere) + -ate (verb) + -ion (the act of) → "the act of excessively, thoroughly weighing/paying back" → an excessive effort to make up for a perceived weakness or deficiency.

11. Incontrovertibility (19 letters) in- (not) + contro- (against) + vert (to turn) + -ible (capable of being) + -ity (the quality of) → "the quality of not being capable of being turned against" → the state of being beyond dispute. (Compare against the walkthrough for incontrovertible itself, near the start of this guide — the -ity here simply nominalises the same adjective.)

12. Extraterritoriality (20 letters) extra- (outside, beyond) + terr (earth, land) + -itori (relating to a defined area) + -al (relating to) + -ity (the quality of) → "the quality of relating to an area beyond [one's own] land" → the legal status of being exempt from the jurisdiction of local law, typically granted to foreign diplomats.

13. Institutionalization (20 letters) in- (into) + stitut (to set up, establish) + -ion (noun) + -al (relating to) + -ize (to make) + -ation (the process of) → "the process of making [something] into that which relates to an established system" → the process by which a practice becomes a fixed, accepted part of an organisation or system (or, in a separate common sense, the process of placing a person into a formal institution such as a hospital).

14. Anthropomorphism (17 letters) anthropo- (human, Greek) + morph (shape, Greek) + -ism (a doctrine or practice) → "the practice of [giving] human shape [to non-human things]" → the attribution of human characteristics or behaviour to animals, objects, or deities.

15. Circumnavigation (17 letters) circum- (around) + navig (to sail, from navis, ship) + -ation (the act/process of) → "the act of sailing around" → the act of travelling all the way around something, especially the globe, by sea or air.

Run this same drill on any long word you meet from now on: isolate the prefix first (it's usually the most recognisable piece), isolate the suffix second (it tells you the part of speech), and what remains in the middle is the root — check it against Part B. Within a few weeks this becomes near-instant, and the words on this list will stop feeling like special cases and start feeling like ordinary compounds — which, structurally, is exactly what they are. The only thing separating a 20-letter word from a 6-letter one is how many of these blocks got stacked together; the underlying reasoning never changes.
