Most aspirants lose marks in the exam hall not because they don't know the syllabus, but because the real test feels nothing like the practice they did at home. The clock, the negative marking, the palette that turns red when you leave a question unanswered - none of that shows up when you solve questions from a PDF. This online test series exists to close that gap. Every mock here runs on the same computer-based-test (CBT) interface used by SSC and the Railway Recruitment Boards, with the same +2 / −0.5 marking, the same question palette, and a timer that behaves exactly like the one you'll sit in front of on exam day.
You can start any test in a single click. There is nothing to buy and no wall to climb over first. Signing in with your Google account is free and only matters once you finish - that's when your score, your section-wise breakdown, your All-India percentile and the worked solutions get saved to your dashboard so you can come back and see whether you're actually improving week over week.
| Feature | What it does for you |
|---|---|
| Real CBT interface | Question palette, Save & Next, Mark for Review, Clear Response and a section bar - the exact controls you'll use in the real exam. |
| Exam marking | +2 for a correct answer, −0.5 for a wrong one, 0 for a skip (RRB uses −1/3). You learn when not to guess. |
| All-India rank & percentile | Every student gets the same Paper N, so your rank is measured against real attempts, not a made-up number. |
| Full solutions | Read the reasoning behind every answer after you submit, in English or हिंदी. |
| Time-per-question analysis | See which questions ate your clock and which topics you're fast-but-wrong on. |
| Bilingual | Switch the whole paper between English and हिंदी mid-test. |
The Staff Selection Commission runs the largest set of central-government recruitment exams in the country, and the four core sections - Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, English and General Awareness - repeat across almost all of them. That's good news: the practice you put in for one SSC exam carries over to the next. Pick the exam you're targeting and start with a full-length mock to see where you stand.
If you're not sure which exam suits your qualification and age, the exam guides page lays out eligibility and pattern for each one in one place.
Indian Railways recruits through the Railway Recruitment Boards, and these are among the highest-vacancy exams anywhere in India - a single Group D notification can carry lakhs of posts. The pattern rewards speed and a strong General Awareness base, and the negative marking here is one-third of a mark, so blind guessing costs you more than it does in SSC. Our RRB test series is built around that reality.
There are three ways to practise here, and it helps to know when to reach for each:
| Type | Best for | Timer | Negative marking |
|---|---|---|---|
| Full-length mock (11 papers/exam) | A true dress rehearsal a few weeks before the exam. Same Paper N for everyone, so your rank is real. | Yes | Yes |
| Sectional test | Drilling one weak section - Quant, Reasoning, English, GK, Science or हिंदी - without sitting a whole paper. | Yes | Yes |
| Topic practice | Learning a topic from scratch with the answer and solution shown immediately. Go to practice → | No | No |
A simple rhythm that works for most people: spend the early weeks in topic practice to fix concepts, move to sectional tests to build speed under a clock, and then sit one full mock a week to rehearse the real thing end to end. Read the solution for every wrong answer - that review is where the marks actually come from.
Coaching test series can cost several thousand rupees a year, which is a real barrier if you're from a tier-2 or tier-3 town and preparing on a tight budget. Pareeksha keeps the full test series free during our launch, and even after that it's priced at a fraction of what the big platforms charge. The interface is deliberately calm and easy on the eyes - no clutter, no loud banners while you're trying to think - and the whole thing works on a modest phone and a patchy connection, because your answers auto-save and you can resume a test if the network drops mid-paper.
Yes. During our launch every mock, sectional and topic-practice set is free - you only need a free Google sign-in to save your scores. There's no trial that expires after a few tests.
You can start and finish any test without signing in. Signing in with Google (free, one tap) is only needed to save your scorecard, rank and solutions to your dashboard so you can track progress over time.
Yes. Each exam's mock follows the official number of questions, duration, section split and marking scheme - for example SSC CGL Tier-1 is 100 questions in 60 minutes with +2/−0.5. RRB papers use the −1/3 negative marking.
Every student attempts the same numbered paper, so ranks and percentiles are computed against real attempts on that paper rather than an estimate. The more people who attempt a paper, the sharper the rank.
Yes. You can switch the entire paper between English and हिंदी at any point during the test, and solutions are available in both languages where we have them.
SSC CGL, CHSL, MTS and GD Constable, plus RRB NTPC, Group D and ALP. We add sectional tests for Quant, Reasoning, English, General Knowledge, Science and Hindi that feed all of these.
We check your device before you start so nothing interrupts your exam.
