A one-week run-up schedule built around spaced repetition — short, active sessions on separate days beat one long re-read the night before.
- Day 1 — Foundations. Read "How to Actually Memorise This Book," "Project Tiger: The Fuller Story," and the core/buffer zoning section. Build your mental bar-chart image of state-wise reserve counts. Memorise the Original Nine mnemonic and test yourself once.
- Day 2 — Big states. Work through Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Karnataka clusters. Learn all three Memory hooks and complete their Practice Recall boxes from memory before checking.
- Day 3 — Mid-size states. Cover Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Assam, and Chhattisgarh. Learn their four mnemonics; redo the Day 1 and Day 2 recall boxes cold, without peeking, before starting new material (this is the spacing kicking in).
- Day 4 — Small-count states and newest additions. Cover Uttar Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, and every remaining state (West Bengal, Kerala, Telangana, Uttarakhand, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Mizoram) plus "The Newest Additions" table. These are mostly single facts per state — pin one weird image per reserve (see technique 3 on Day 1) rather than a mnemonic sentence.
- Day 5 — Biosphere Reserves and species-specific projects. Learn all three Biosphere Reserve mnemonics ("Nine Naughty Nuns...", "Dozy Ducks...", "Ants Ate Grandma's..."), the Nilgiri/Cold-Desert bookend hook, and the five conservation-project models. Re-test Days 1–4's recall boxes.
- Day 6 — Numbers day. Drill every number in the book cold: 58 Tiger Reserves, 18 Biosphere Reserves, 13 UNESCO-tagged, the 1,411→2,967→3,682 tiger-population sequence, and the largest/smallest/newest reserve facts from the Quick Count Table. Rebuild your Day 1 mental bar-chart from scratch without looking.
- Day 7 — Full mock. Attempt the entire Twenty-Two-Question Flash Check cold, in one sitting, timed. Mark anything you miss, re-read only those specific cards, and re-test just those weak points one final time before the exam.
End of Book 9 — the final book in this nine-book series.
