The most recently declared reserves, in order — the tail end of this list is what current-affairs sections of exams tend to probe:

Year Reserve State
2021 Srivilliputhur-Megamalai Tamil Nadu
2022 Ramgarh Vishdhari Rajasthan
2022 Ranipur Uttar Pradesh
2023 Veerangana Durgavati Madhya Pradesh
2023 Dholpur-Karauli Rajasthan
2024 Guru Ghasidas-Tamor Pingla Chhattisgarh
2024 Ratapani Madhya Pradesh
2025 Madhav — the 58th and newest Madhya Pradesh

Practice Recall: Name, in order, the last five Tiger Reserves declared before Madhav (2025)... (Answer, most-to-least recent: Ratapani (2024), Guru Ghasidas-Tamor Pingla (2024), Dholpur-Karauli (2023), Veerangana Durgavati (2023), Ranipur (2022) — Ramgarh Vishdhari was also 2022.)

Note on dates: many aggregator websites list "2007" for several older reserves (Kanha, Bandhavgarh, etc.) — that marks their administrative renotification under the 2006 amendment to the Wildlife Protection Act (which required every existing reserve's core-critical-tiger-habitat boundary to be re-notified under the new statutory framework), not their true original declaration. Don't let that trip you into thinking those are recent reserves — treat 1973 as their working answer unless a question specifically asks about renotification.
