A spaced-repetition schedule built specifically for this book — each day layers active recall on top of what you last revised, rather than starting over from page one.

  • Day 1 — First pass: Read the whole book once, straight through, including "How to Actually Memorise This Book." Don't try to memorise yet; just build the map. At the end, attempt the Six Baskets Practice Recall box cold.
  • Day 2 — Equality & Freedom: Re-read Articles 12–22 (State, Article 13's doctrines, Arts. 14–18, Article 19, Article 20, Article 22). Build the method-of-loci courtroom tour in your head for the six baskets. Attempt the Article 19 and Article 20 Practice Recall boxes without peeking.
  • Day 3 — Exploitation, Religion, Culture: Re-read Articles 23–30, focusing on which articles bind private parties (horizontal application) and the Shirur Mutt "essential practices" test. Attempt the Article 22 Practice Recall box, then skim Day 1–2 sections for 10 minutes (your first spaced repeat).
  • Day 4 — Remedies: Re-read Saving Clauses, Article 32 vs 226, the Five Writs, and Suspension (Arts. 33, 34, 358, 359). Drill the writs mnemonic until you can write all five, unaided, in under 60 seconds. Attempt that Practice Recall box.
  • Day 5 — Part IV and IVA: Re-read DPSPs (all three categories), the FR–DPSP conflict history, and Fundamental Duties. Drill "Grandma Sells Lemons" and the Duties chain mnemonic. Attempt both corresponding Practice Recall boxes, then re-skim Day 2–3 material (second spaced repeat).
  • Day 6 — Case law and cross-cutting distinctions: Re-read all 20 cases plus the legal/constitutional/fundamental rights hierarchy and horizontal/vertical distinction. Drill the two case-law spine mnemonics until you can recite each without hesitation. Attempt the case-law Practice Recall box.
  • Day 7 — Full retrieval test: Close the book. Work through all 25 Flash-Check questions from memory, then the entire Mnemonic Index (cover the decode column). Only re-open the book to check answers and patch specific gaps — this is pure retrieval, the highest-yield hour of the whole week.

A memory aid, not a substitute for the bare Act — verify exact wording before an exam-critical answer.
