IBPS PO Prelims Admit Card 2026 Out: Download Steps, Shift Timings & Exam-Day Guide

IBPS released the PO/MT-XVI prelims admit card on 14 August 2026 at 5:00 PM. The prelims exam runs on 22 and 23 August 2026 in four shifts each day, for 7,565 vacancies. Here is exactly how to download it and what the exam day looks like.

How to Download

1. Go to ibps.in and open the CRP PO/MT-XVI section.
2. Click the prelims call letter link.

4. Check your name, photo, centre address and shift, then download and print two copies.

Shift Timings and Reporting

Your own shift is printed on the admit card. Reach at the reporting time — entry closes before the exam starts, and biometric verification takes a while.

What to Carry

• Printed admit card (2 copies).
• Original photo ID — Aadhaar, PAN, voter ID, passport or driving licence — plus a photocopy.
• 1–2 passport-size photographs (same as the one uploaded in the form).
• A simple ballpoint pen. Electronics stay outside.

Prelims Pattern Reminder

100 questions, 100 marks, 60 minutes with sectional timing: English Language (30 questions, 20 minutes), Quantitative Aptitude (35, 20) and Reasoning Ability (35, 20). Each wrong answer costs 0.25 marks. There is a sectional order fixed by the system — you cannot switch mid-section, so practise with the same constraint.
