These three are the names most SSC, Railway and Banking aspirants run into first. All three sell mock tests, all three sell coaching, and all three run near-constant sales, which makes them hard to compare from the outside. This post lays out what each one says it offers, checked on their own websites on 4 October 2026, and then gives a way to choose that does not depend on whose advertisement you saw last.

Two cautions before we start. First, prices on these sites change often, and many of the figures below were sale prices on the day we looked. Treat every price as a snapshot and check the current page before paying. Second, we run a mock-test platform ourselves (we appear briefly at the end). We have tried to be fair, and we have left out anything we could not verify on the platforms' own pages, including any judgement about question quality, which we have no reliable way to measure across platforms.

All figures are as shown on each platform's own pages on 4 October 2026. "Listed" means what the site claims, not something we counted.

Testbook

What it says it offers. Testbook's Pass page describes a single yearly pass and says the older Pass Pro, Pass Pro Max and Pass Elite tiers have been merged into it. The page lists 1,50,000+ mock tests across 1000+ exams, 30,000+ previous year papers, unlimited live tests with re-attempts, study notes, practice questions and AI doubt support. On 4 October 2026 the yearly price was shown as ₹749 for 365 days, marked down from ₹1,199.

Its SSC CGL test series page listed 2,497 tests in English and Hindi, with 22 free, and a scorecard with a rank-prediction feature. Live coaching is a separate product, Super Pass Live; the SSC CGL coaching page described 400+ live classes and bilingual content, at ₹1 for a 2-day trial and then ₹649 for 90 days, with basic plans from ₹329.

Where it is strong. Breadth. The Pass page lists everything from SSC and Railways to UPSC, JEE, NEET, CAT and UGC NET. If you are not yet sure which exam you will end up taking, or you are preparing for exams in different families, one pass covers a lot.

Things to check. Whether the specific exam you want has full-length mocks on the latest pattern, and whether the live-class product you need is included in the Pass or sold separately (on the day we looked, they were separate products).

Adda247

What it says it offers. Adda247's homepage lists Banking, SSC, Railways, Teaching, Nursing, Agriculture, State PCS, JAIIB-CAIIB, UPSC, NEET, CUET and more, with live classes, video courses, e-books and printed books. It lists content in "12+ languages", naming Bengali, Tamil, English, Hindi, Marathi and Telugu among them.

Its mock subscription is called Test Prime. The product page we read on 4 October 2026 listed 1,50,000+ mocks, 25k+ previous year papers, unlimited re-attempts and "Overall & Sectional Analysis, Ranks and Comparison with Topper", at ₹299 for 12 months as part of a Gandhi Jayanti sale. The regular price was not shown on that page, so expect it to be different outside the sale.

Where it is strong. Banking leads its exam list and it sells banking-specific packs, and it has the widest language list of the three. If you are preparing for a state-level exam in Bengali, Marathi, Tamil or Telugu, check whether your exam is covered in your language; it may be the most practical option. It also sells printed books, which some students still prefer for revision.

Things to check. The sale price is the headline on most pages; find out what the plan renews at, if it renews. And confirm that the language you want is available for your specific exam, since "12+ languages" across the platform does not mean every test is in every language.

Oliveboard

What it says it offers. Oliveboard's homepage lists banking, SSC, railway, teaching and many state exams, with live classes, video courses, study notes, "100+" free mock tests and "400+" free e-books on its app. Its test-series page says mocks are available in English and Hindi, with sectional breakdown and performance comparison. Its SSC CGL page lists courses in English medium and Hinglish medium, with Telugu and Tamil medium for some foundation courses.

A feature worth knowing about: Oliveboard runs free scheduled live tests. Its SSC CGL live-test page described a Tier 1 live test every Friday to Sunday and a quant live test every Wednesday and Thursday, with all-India ranking, sectional timing and detailed solutions, and showed a running count of 9,40,641 live tests submitted.

We could not find a current price for an all-exam Oliveboard subscription on its own site on the day we checked (its pricing page did not load for us), so we have left price out rather than quote a third-party figure.

Where it is strong. Banking exams lead its exam list, and the free weekly live tests are a genuinely useful way to see where you stand in a large group without paying anything.

Things to check. The current price of the specific course or test series you need, and its validity period.

How to actually choose

Most comparisons stop at the table. The table matters less than three questions about you.

1. Do you need to be taught, or only tested? If you are weak on concepts in one or more sections, a course with classes will move your score more than extra mocks will. All three sell classes. Pick the one whose free demo lectures you find easiest to follow, because you will be listening to that teacher for months.

2. What language do you think in? If you read GK faster in Hindi or in your state's language, that matters on exam day. Check each platform for your exact exam and language, not the platform-wide claim.

3. What do you want from a rank? A rank is only as good as the group behind it and whether everyone answered the same questions. Large, scheduled live tests (like the ones Oliveboard advertises) give you a big comparison group at a fixed time. For more on why the comparison group matters, see what a percentile actually tells you on each platform.

Then do the boring but reliable thing: take one free mock on each platform you are considering, in the same week, and compare the questions against an official previous year paper from ssc.gov.in or your RRB's website. Which felt closest to the real paper? Which report told you something you did not already know? That hour of testing is worth more than any article, including this one. Our older post on free government exam mock test comparison has a checklist for that trial.

A fourth option: Pareeksha

We will keep this short, since the post is about the other three. Pareeksha covers SSC, Railway, Banking and State PSC exams. Our design choice is that everyone in a cohort sits the same fixed paper, so a percentile means "of the students who answered these exact questions, you beat this many". Papers are in Hindi and English, and the interface is ad-free and quiet. Full mocks, PYQs, sectional tests and a Reading Room of books are part of Pareeksha Pro (current price on the pricing page); Daily Dangal, mini-mocks and group tests are free.

We do not sell live classes or video courses, and we cover fewer exams than any of the three platforms above. If you need teaching or very broad exam coverage, one of them is the better fit. If you mainly want a fixed-paper benchmark in both languages, try a Pareeksha mock.

FAQ

Which is cheapest: Testbook, Adda247 or Oliveboard? On 4 October 2026, Adda247's Test Prime was listed at ₹299 for 12 months (a festive sale price) and Testbook Pass at ₹749 for 365 days. We could not verify a current Oliveboard all-exam price. Sale prices change often, so check before buying.

Which is best for banking exams? All three cover IBPS and SBI exams; Adda247 and Oliveboard both put banking first in their exam lists. Take a free mock on each and compare against an official IBPS or SBI previous paper.

Which has the most languages? Adda247 lists "12+ languages" platform-wide. Check whether your exam is available in your language before paying.

Are the ranks on these platforms comparable? No. Each rank is relative to a different group of students on a different paper. Compare your trend within one platform.

Should I buy more than one? Usually not at the start. Pick one for regular practice, and use free tests on others as an occasional check.
