What is the Chhattisgarh TET syllabus?
Child Development and Pedagogy covers learning theories, child development stages, inclusive education, motivation, assessment and teaching methods. The language sections cover grammar, vocabulary, comprehension and language pedagogy. Mathematics and Science for the upper-primary paper follow the school syllabus up to Class 8 with the related teaching methods, and Environmental Studies for Paper 1 covers the natural and social environment of the primary classes.
What is a good Chhattisgarh TET cut-off?
Chhattisgarh TET is a pass-or-fail eligibility test rather than a ranked selection. You qualify by reaching the pass mark: 60% for the general category and 50% for SC, ST, OBC (non-creamy layer) and disabled candidates. The certificate is valid for life, and qualified candidates may sit again to improve their score.
How should I prepare for Chhattisgarh TET?
Pedagogy is the highest-value section because it is shared by both papers and rewards concept clarity over memory. Prepare the language sections with grammar practice, revise school-level mathematics and science, and take one full paper under timed conditions each week. Since there is no negative marking, attempt every question.
