A and B can do a work in 30 days and 10 days, respectively. If they work on alternate days starting with A, then in how many days will the work be completed?

In every 2 days (A then B), 1/30+1/10 = 2/15 of work is done. After 14 days (7 pairs), 14/15 is done. On day 15 (A's turn), 1/30 more is done, totalling 29/30. Remaining 1/30 is completed by B in 1/3 of a day (since B does 1/10/day). Total = 15⅓ days.
