A can complete the work in 16 days and B can complete it in 24 days. They work together for 5 days, then A leaves. How many more days will B take to complete the remaining work?

In 5 days, A+B complete 5(1/16+1/24) = 5×5/48 = 25/48 of work; remaining = 23/48. B alone finishes this in (23/48)/(1/24) = 11.5 days.
