Let Pravin's share = x. Since both amounts become equal, x×(1.1)¹⁷ = (1617−x)×(1.1)¹⁸ ⟹ x = 1.1(1617−x) ⟹ 2.1x = 1778.7 ⟹ x = ₹847.
