The average speed of a train for a certain journey is 77 km/h. It covers the first 40% of the total distance at 70 km/h and the next 15% of the total distance at 66 km/h. Find the speed at which it covers the remaining 45% of the distance.

Let the total distance be D and the unknown speed be x. Total time = D/77.
D/77 = 0.4D/70 + 0.15D/66 + 0.45D/x. Dividing throughout by D:
1/77 = 2/350 + 1/440 + 0.45/x.
2/350 ≈ 0.0057143, 1/440 ≈ 0.0022727, sum ≈ 0.0079870; 1/77 ≈ 0.0129870.
So 0.45/x = 0.0129870 - 0.0079870 = 0.005 => x = 0.45/0.005 = 90 km/h.
