Two banks, A and B, offered loans at 3.5% and 6.5% per annum, respectively. Ajay borrowed an amount of ₹2,60,000 from each bank. Find the positive difference between the amounts of simple interest (in ₹) paid to the two banks by Ajay after 2 years.

SI at 3.5% for 2 years = 260000*0.035*2 = 18,200; SI at 6.5% for 2 years = 260000*0.065*2 = 33,800. The positive difference = 33,800-18,200 = 15,600.
