Venu invested a certain sum of money at 10% per annum. After 2 years, he received ₹136.50 as compound interest, compounded annually. Find the corresponding simple interest (in ₹) for 2 years at the same rate.

CI for 2 years at 10% = P[(1.1)²-1] = 0.21P = 136.50, so P=650. SI for the same 2 years = P×10×2/100 = 650×0.2 = ₹130.
