Sem-1 avg = 0.3(85)+0.2(90)+0.4(78)+0.1(95) = 25.5+18+31.2+9.5 = 84.2. Sem-2: Math 90, Chem 83, History 85, English 90 → avg = 0.3(90)+0.2(85)+0.4(83)+0.1(90) = 27+17+33.2+9 = 86.2. Year average = (84.2+86.2)/2 = 85.2.
