The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) conducts the Grade A Officer examination to recruit candidates for the post of Assistant Manager in the bank. The NABARD Grade A examination is a highly competitive exam and is conducted in two phases:

This is a preliminary examination that consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) in subjects such as general awareness, reasoning, English language, quantitative aptitude, and computer knowledge. The time duration of the examination is usually 120 minutes and it carries a total of 200 marks.

This is the Main examination which includes Paper I is for Economic and Social Issues and Agriculture and Rural Development Paper II is for English Language

The Main examination is usually held online and it carries a total of 200 marks. The time duration for the main examination is usually 120 minutes for each paper.

This is an interview round. Interviews are usually held for the candidates who qualify in the Main examination. The Interview is conducted for a total of 50 marks

The final selection is based on the candidate’s performance in the written examination and interview.

In order to be eligible for the NABARD Grade A examination, the candidates must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university and must meet the age criteria as specified by the commission. The age limit for the NABARD Grade A exam is 21-30 years.
