Correct answer: (A) Rs 1200

For months 1 to 3, the balance rises by Rs 200 each month: 500, 700, 900. After crossing Rs 900, from month 4 onward, only Rs 100 is added each month: 900+100=1000, 1000+100=1100. So month 6 = 1100 + 100 = Rs 1200.
