Marked price = ₹1730. First discount = d% of MP = 17.3d rupees, price becomes 1730 - 17.3d. The second discount has the 'same nominal value' i.e. also ₹17.3d is subtracted again. So final price = 1730 - 2(17.3d) = 346 → 34.6d = 1384 → d = 40.
