Two banks, A and B, offered loans at 3.5% and 6.5% per annum, respectively. Ashish borrowed an amount of ₹3,40,000 from each bank. Find the positive difference between the amounts of simple interest (in ₹) paid to the two banks by Ashish after 2 years.

Simple interest from Bank A = 340000 x 3.5 x 2/100 = Rs.23,800; from Bank B = 340000 x 6.5 x 2/100 = Rs.44,200. The positive difference = 44,200 - 23,800 = Rs.20,400.
