Local cadre. Posts are filled under the Andhra Pradesh Presidential Order 2025 (G.O.103 for SI Civil, G.O.105 for RSI, G.O.191 of 15-09-2026 for SPF). Under G.O.Ms.No.172 GA (Ser.D), 02-09-2026, the first 5% of posts are open and the remaining 95% go to locals. A note on G.O.188. G.O.Ms.No.188 of 14-09-2026 gives two extra years on the upper age for uniformed posts, but Rc.81 still prints 21 to 27 and does not mention it. Treat 27 as the limit until SLPRB issues a corrigendum.

Qualification and fee in brief. Graduates only (SC/ST: Intermediate pass and must have studied a degree). Non-local candidates pay Rs.600, the same as OC.

What the pattern means for your attempt

  • Arithmetic from the scheme: final Papers III and IV are 200 questions in 180 minutes each, or 54 seconds a question. The prelims papers give 108 seconds a question, so the final is twice as fast.
  • The descriptive Papers I and II carry no merit but can eliminate you. Practise writing in both languages; see the preparation plan.
  • Final merit is on 400 marks; the 2022 zone-wise cut-offs are on the cut-off page.

Practise in this format: a 10-question mini-mock and the Daily Dangal are free. Full-length mocks, previous-year papers and topic practice are Pro.
