NEW DELHI, September 9 — The 22nd edition of the bilateral military training exercise 'Yudh Abhyas 2026' between the Indian Army and the United States Army commenced on Tuesday in a multi-theatre format.
The annual exercise aims to enhance interoperability, tactical skills, and joint combat operations in counter-terrorism and disaster relief scenarios. Troops from both nations are participating in tactical drills, integrated command post exercises, and joint counter-insurgency operations under UN mandates.
