KUALA LUMPUR, September 9 — Indian Naval Ship (INS) Mysore arrived at Port Klang, Malaysia, on Tuesday to participate in the bilateral naval exercise 'Samudra Laksamana 4/26' with the Royal Malaysian Navy.
The multi-day naval exercise includes harbor interactions, professional exchanges, cross-deck visits, and tactical seamanship drills at sea. The joint exercise aims to deepen maritime security cooperation, improve operational understanding, and strengthen diplomatic ties between the two navies in the South China Sea region.
Naval officials affirmed that the engagement highlights India's 'Act East' policy and commitment to maritime security in the Indian Ocean and Southeast Asia.
