NEW DELHI, September 21 — The National Informatics Centre (NIC), under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), invited online applications for the recruitment of Scientific/Technical Assistant-A posts.
Eligible candidates holding a B.E./B.Tech or MCA degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related streams can submit applications on the official NIC portal by September 30, 2026. The posts offer a pay level of ₹35,400–₹1,12,400 (Level 6) with additional technical allowances.
Selection will be based on a written test followed by skill/proficiency assessment and document verification.
Government IT sector recruitments under MeitY are popular among engineering and MCA graduates. Candidates should note that NIC provides technology solutions for e-Government applications across central and state government bodies.
