RRBs do not announce a cut-off in advance. Each Railway Recruitment Board publishes a result sheet and a cut-off sheet when a stage is declared, and each board does it for its own candidates. This page reproduces what we read in those official sheets up to 7 October 2026 and explains how to use them. Nothing here is estimated. Where a sheet's columns were not clear to us, we left the figure out.
How to read an RRB cut-off sheet
- Marks are normalised and out of 100, even for CBT-2, which has 120 questions. The notices do not publish the conversion, so do not compare these numbers with your raw score.
- The rows are category numbers (CAT_NO), which match the post list in each CEN: for Graduate, 1 Chief Commercial cum Ticket Supervisor, 2 Station Master, 3 Goods Train Manager, 4 Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist, 5 Senior Clerk cum Typist, 6 Traffic Assistant. For Undergraduate, 1 Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, 2 Accounts Clerk cum Typist, 3 Junior Clerk cum Typist, 4 Trains Clerk.
- The columns are UR, SC, ST, OBC, EWS, ESM and disability sub-categories. A blank cell means no cut-off was set (usually no candidates or vacancies in that cell) at that board.
- Marks are applied board by board. The cut-off of one RRB says nothing about another.

The same sheet also lists disability cut-offs, for example hearing impaired 59.58299 and locomotor disability 72.49586 for category 1.
Graduate CBT-1: UR cut-off at other boards
We read the UR column only where the sheet's row was unambiguous. "n/r" means not read: the row had blank cells that made the column unclear, or the board had no row.

Our reading: the spread for the same post across boards is about 10 marks (Station Master UR from 78.8 to 88.2 here). That is why picking an RRB is as important as preparing well. These are the boards we checked; the other RRBs publish their own sheets on their pages of the unified RRB website.
Graduate CBT-2: shortlisting for CBAT and typing test
Declared 27 August 2026. Candidates were shortlisted on CBT-2 marks, provided they had scored above the CBT-1 cut-off of their community. At RRB Secunderabad, 1,544 candidates were shortlisted for CBAT and typing test. The CBT-2 cut-off sheets list rows by category number plus a short suffix (for example 2scr, 4scr, 5scr at Secunderabad; 2er, 4ser, 5er at Kolkata). The sheets do not expand the suffixes; they look like railway zone codes, so cut-offs appear to be set zone by zone within a board.
UR cut-offs, out of 100:
| Stage and post | Row as printed | UR |
|---|---|---|
| CBAT, Station Master, Secunderabad | 2ecor | 79.77208 |
| CBAT, Station Master, Secunderabad | 2scr | 75.78348 |
| CBAT, Station Master, Kolkata | 2er | 75.86207 |
| CBAT, Station Master, Kolkata | 2ser | 76.63818 |
| Typing test, Junior Accounts Assistant, Secunderabad | 4scr | 75.49858 |
| Typing test, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Secunderabad | 5scr | 75.21368 |
| Typing test, Junior Accounts Assistant, Kolkata | 4er / 4ser | 77.58621 / 75.49858 |
| Typing test, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Kolkata | 5er / 5ser | 76.63818 / 74.42528 |
For Goods Train Manager and Chief Commercial cum Ticket Supervisor, which have no further test, the next list is the document-verification shortlist, which we did not find on 7 October 2026.

Vacancies advertised
| Cycle | Posts | Total (all RRBs, provisional) |
|---|---|---|
| Graduate, CEN 06/2025 | Chief Commercial cum Ticket Supervisor 161; Station Master 615; Goods Train Manager 3,416; Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist 921; Senior Clerk cum Typist 638; Traffic Assistant 59 | 5,810 |
| Undergraduate, CEN 07/2025 | Commercial cum Ticket Clerk 2,424; Accounts Clerk cum Typist 394; Junior Clerk cum Typist 163; Trains Clerk 77 | 3,058 |
Each CEN says vacancies may rise or fall. Selection is made on merit with candidates called for document verification equal to the number of vacancies (1:1).
How to use this page
- Do not read CBT-1 as the goal. It only decides who sits CBT-2. The CEN sets the CBT-2 shortlist at 15 times the community-wise vacancies, so CBT-1 is a screening step.
- Use your category's number, not the UR number. In the Secunderabad sheet, the UR and ST cut-offs for Station Master differ by about 6.5 marks.
- Look at your RRB and post together. The tables above show how much both change the number.
- Check your percentile. Raw marks hide the paper's difficulty. On Pareeksha everyone in a cohort sits the same fixed paper, so percentile is a like-for-like comparison. See how fixed-paper percentile works.
What this page does not have
- Earlier cycles (CEN 05/2024 and 06/2024 and before). We did not read those results.
- Cut-offs of RRBs we did not open, and the Undergraduate sheets of boards other than Secunderabad.
- Final (post-document-verification) cut-offs and the results of the Graduate typing test and CBAT, and of Undergraduate CBT-2. As of 7 October 2026 we did not find them posted.
- The normalisation formula and the raw-to-100 conversion. RRB's CENs say marks are normalised; they do not publish the method in the sections we read.
