What is the APPSC Group-IV exam pattern?
As per the latest official scheme (2019), the Screening Test carries 150 marks: Section A General Studies & Mental Ability (100 questions, 100 minutes, 100 marks) and Section B General English and General Telugu (50 questions, 50 minutes, 50 marks - 25 for each language), at SSC standard. Mains has two papers of 150 marks and 150 minutes each (300 marks): Paper I General Studies & Mental Ability and Paper II General English and General Telugu (75 marks each). Every wrong answer attracts a deduction of one-third of a mark. A Computer Proficiency Test is qualifying and is held at a ratio of 1:2.

What is the APPSC Group-IV syllabus?
General Studies & Mental Ability covers current events, general science, Indian and AP history, geography, polity and economy, together with reasoning and mental ability. General English and General Telugu test grammar, vocabulary, comprehension and usage at SSC standard. The Computer Proficiency Test is qualifying.
