AMARAVATI, August 4 — The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) is expected to release the official recruitment notification for Group-1 Services on August 15, 2026, in line with the recently announced state job calendar.
According to commission sources, the notification will cover key administrative vacancies, including Deputy Collectors, Commercial Tax Officers, Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSP), and Regional Transport Officers (RTO). The online registration process will be hosted on the official portal psc.ap.gov.in.
The recruitment will follow a three-stage pattern, comprising a Preliminary Screening Test (objective type), a Written Main Examination (descriptive type), and a personal interview. Age limits and category-wise relaxations will be detailed in the notification.
Candidates preparing for APPSC civil services are advised to organize their educational, community, and local status certificates. General studies preparation should focus on Indian Polity, AP History, Economy, and Science and Tech.
