JODHPUR, September 26 — The Indian Air Force (IAF) commenced the second edition of the landmark multinational air exercise "Tarang Shakti 2026" at Air Force Station Jodhpur, Rajasthan, on Saturday.
Scheduled from September 26 to October 12, the mega exercise features military aviation delegations and fighter assets from approximately 40 participating and observer nations. The operational framework aims to enhance interoperability in complex multi-domain air combat environments and highlight India's burgeoning indigenous aerospace ecosystem, with active deployments of Tejas Light Combat Aircraft (LCA), Su-30MKI squadrons, and Prachand Light Combat Helicopters.
Defence officials highlighted that Tarang Shakti serves as a vital platform to deepen strategic friendships, test integrated command capabilities, and showcase 'Make in India' aerospace platforms to global partners.
