NEW DELHI, October 2 — The Indian Army officially invited online applications for the 145th Technical Graduate Course (TGC-145) commencing in July 2027 at the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun.
The entry scheme offers Permanent Commission to unmarried male engineering graduates across engineering streams including Civil, Computer Science, Mechanical, Electrical, and Electronics & Telecommunication. Eligible candidates can submit applications on the official recruitment portal joinindianarmy.nic.in until October 29, 2026 (3:00 PM).
The selection roadmap comprises cutoff-based shortlisting of engineering degree marks, a 5-day Service Selection Board (SSB) interview round, and extensive medical board fitness clearances. Successful trainees undergo 49 weeks of pre-commission military training at IMA Dehradun.
Defence recruitment pathways and technical branch commissions are standard updates for defence and civil exam aspirants. Candidates should note that officers commissioned through the TGC route enter the Indian Army in the rank of Lieutenant with Level 10 pay scales.
