This page condenses the syllabus annexed to APPSC brief Notification No. 23/2026 (15 September 2026) for Executive Officer Grade-III in the A.P. Endowments Subordinate Service. The examination is single-level with no screening test, so both papers count in full. As on 11 October 2026 the detailed notification is due on or before 16 October 2026; if its syllabus annexure differs from this page, the annexure wins. For questions, minutes and marks see the exam pattern; for the post, pay scale and dates see the Executive Officer guide.

| 2 | The Mahabharata: characters, parvas, dynasties and places |
| 3 | The Bhagavatham: characters, skandhams and places |

| 12 | Law relating to endowment lands: the Record of Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Book Act and Sections 75 to 86 of the Endowments Act, 30/87 |
We have not reproduced the exact split of the four headings in items 5 to 7; read them in the annexure.
The Act items: 10, 11 and 12
Three of the twelve items are law. The A.P. Charitable and Hindu Religious Institutions and Endowments Act, 1987 is Act No. 30 of 1987. Section 29, as substituted by Amendment Act 33 of 2007, sets out the Executive Officer's appointment and duties; Section 57 the allocation of an institution's funds; Sections 75 to 86 endowment lands; item 12 adds the Record of Rights Act. Read the sections, not summaries; Section 29(3), the condition that an Executive Officer profess the Hindu religion, is itself a likely question.
One wording note: item 8 pairs Madhwacharya with "Dvaithadvaitham", while standard references call Madhva's school Dvaita and give Dvaitadvaita to Nimbarka. Answer on the standard texts; APPSC invites objections to its preliminary key.
