AP Government reschedules Phase-2 Job Calendar notifications for 3,168 posts to September 15

AMARAVATI, August 1 — The Andhra Pradesh state government announced a revised schedule for its 2026 recruitment roadmap, adjusting the release date for second-phase notifications covering 3,168 government vacancies to September 15, 2026.

IT and Human Resources Development Minister Nara Lokesh stated that the adjustment was decided after thorough consultation with state recruitment boards to resolve technical issues regarding the implementation of Presidential Orders and to address representations submitted by various employee associations. The government emphasized its commitment to publishing error-free, legally sound job notifications across all departments.

According to the revised hiring roadmap, the second phase will be followed by a combined recruitment notification for the third and fourth phases on October 15, 2026, which will cover 2,388 and 2,981 posts respectively across state civil services and technical cadres.

APPSC and state job aspirants preparing for AP Group 1, Group 2, Lecturer and administrative exams are advised to utilize the additional preparation window and keep track of official updates on psc.ap.gov.in.
