MUMBAI, August 1 — The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection released the official notification on Saturday for the recruitment of 11,403 Customer Service Associate positions across participating public sector banks, kicking off one of the year's largest clerical recruitment drives in the banking sector.
Online registration opens today, August 1, and will remain active through August 21, 2026. Interested candidates holding a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university are eligible to apply through the official IBPS portal. Age limits have been fixed between 20 and 28 years as of the eligibility cutoff date, with standard age relaxations applicable for reserved category applicants.
The selection process comprises a Preliminary Examination followed by a Main Examination. The preliminary test is expected to assess candidates on English Language, Reasoning Ability and Quantitative Aptitude, while the mains examination will additionally test General and Financial Awareness and Computer Aptitude.
Aspirants preparing for bank clerical exams should note that early submission is advised to avoid last-minute portal rush, and general awareness preparation should focus on banking terminology, recent RBI notifications and financial current affairs over the preceding six months.
