MUMBAI, October 13 — The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) on Tuesday declared the provisional result status and state-wise qualifying cut-off marks for the Common Recruitment Process for RRBs (CRP RRBs XIII) Officer Scale-I (Probationary Officer) Mains Examination 2026 on its official portal (ibps.in).
According to the examination authority's notification, candidates qualifying the objective Mains examination—which evaluated 200 questions spanning Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness, English/Hindi Language, and Computer Knowledge—have been shortlisted for the final Personal Interview round. The interview stage is coordinated centrally by the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) alongside designated nodal Regional Rural Banks across respective states in November 2026.
IBPS clarified that final merit allotment across the 43 participating Regional Rural Banks will be computed utilizing a combined weightage ratio of 80:20 between the online Mains examination scores and interview performance. Qualifying candidates can access scorecards and interview call letters following biometric credential validation.
The statutory architecture of Regional Rural Banks (established under the RRB Act 1976 based on Narasimham Working Group recommendations, beginning with Prathama Bank in 1975), the tripartite ownership model (Central Government 50%, Sponsor Bank 35%, State Government 15%), Priority Sector Lending (PSL) mandates requiring RRBs to allocate 75% of total adjusted net bank credit to priority sectors, and financial inclusion policies are fundamental topics across IBPS PO, SBI PO, and RBI Grade B recruitment exams.
