MUMBAI, October 21 — The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) officially declared the Preliminary Examination results for the Common Recruitment Process for Customer Service Associates (CRP CSA-XIV, formerly Clerical Cadre) on Tuesday.
Candidates who participated in the multi-shift preliminary screening can verify their qualifying status on ibps.in using their registration credentials. Shortlisted candidates will now advance to the 160-minute Online Main Examination comprising 190 questions valued at 200 marks across four distinct sections: General/Financial Awareness (50 marks), General English (40 marks), Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude (60 marks), and Quantitative Aptitude (50 marks).
IBPS reiterated that recruitment to the clerical Customer Service Associate cadre involves no interview stage; scores obtained in the Main Examination carry 100% weightage toward determining final state-wise and category-wise provisional allotment across over 6,128 notified vacancies in 11 participating Public Sector Banks.
The structural re-designation of bank clerical staff to Customer Service Associates (CSA), the history of Public Sector Bank amalgamations in India, and foundational banking regulations under the Reserve Bank of India Act 1934 and Banking Regulation Act 1949 represent essential general awareness modules for IBPS Main examinations.
