LUCKNOW, September 16 — The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) opened the online application window on Wednesday for the recruitment of 12,405 Primary Assistant Teachers in government basic schools across Uttar Pradesh.
Eligible candidates possessing D.El.Ed (BTC) or B.Ed qualifications along with UPTET or CTET certifications can submit online forms on upessc.up.gov.in through October 15, 2026. The mega recruitment drive seeks to fill longstanding teacher vacancies in primary schools across 75 districts.
The selection process will be determined through a written merit exam followed by district-level document verification and counseling.
Teacher recruitment drives in Uttar Pradesh are among the largest state-level employment examinations in India. Aspirants should review district-wise vacancy distribution, age relaxation rules, and TET weightage criteria before applying.
