INDORE, October 8 — The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) on Thursday published the revised candidate scorecards and official category-wise qualifying cutoffs for the State Service Preliminary Examination 2026 (SSE 2026) on its web portal (mppsc.mp.gov.in).
The revised results reflect comprehensive expert committee evaluations of representations lodged by candidates against the provisional answer keys, culminating in the cancellation of three contested questions and adjusted scaling across General Studies Paper I and General Aptitude Paper II.
Under the state's 87-13 percent provisional reservation formula, the unreserved open category cutoff was determined at 162 marks (out of 200), with unreserved female candidates qualifying at 160 marks. Cutoffs for other categories were confirmed at 158 marks for Other Backward Classes (OBC), 156 marks for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), 150 marks for Scheduled Castes (SC), and 142 marks for Scheduled Tribes (ST). Candidates clearing the thresholds qualify for the SSE 2026 Main Examination scheduled for early 2027.
State administrative recruitment protocols, constitutional provisions governing State Public Service Commissions (Articles 315 to 323 of the Constitution of India), and regional governance structures (including the Panchayats Extension to Scheduled Areas - PESA Act 1996 in central tribal belts) are recurring themes in State PSC and UPSC Civil Services examinations. Candidates should maintain strong coverage of state geographical features, tribal demographics, and constitutional reservation jurisprudence.
