The practice sets that follow use four-choice questions with short explanations. First pass: answer without the law open and mark whether the question is stable law or current implementation. Second pass: check the section number or source type, not just the answer letter. Third pass: revisit each wrong choice and articulate the single phrase that makes it false. This is especially useful for Section 5, Section 90 and Special Category Status, where one changed word can alter the answer.
For maps, locate the two successor States, Hyderabad, Amaravati, the Godavari and Krishna basins and Polavaram before naming a section. For finances, label proposal, sanction, release and expenditure. For schedules, write Ninth = corporations, Tenth = facilities, Thirteenth = development measures. Keep a one-page date card: 1 March 2014 assent; 2 June 2014 appointed day; 2 June 2024 end of ten-year period and deemed date of capital amendment; 6 April 2026 assent to that amendment.
Worked example: In a timed set, write the key words beside every question: law, assurance, finance, map or progress. Answer a statutory section from the Gazette, a location from the dated map, and an implementation question from an official progress report. Review wrong responses by error type. This method prevents a remembered headline from substituting for the actual question's source.
Active recall: Draw the schedule triad and four-date card from memory in three minutes.
