For AP SI and Constable, the most reliable core is the Act's architecture. Learn the territorial split, the common-capital period, the amended Amaravati wording, the 25/17 Lok Sabha seats, Sections 46, 90 and 94, and the function of the Ninth, Tenth and Thirteenth Schedules. Then attach the geography: present AP districts, the capital, two river basins and Polavaram. Finally attach the policy debate: parliamentary Special Category Status assurance, the absence of that exact phrase from the Act, and the later Special Assistance mechanism.
Before the exam, update only genuinely time-sensitive fields from primary sources: construction progress, release totals, current office sites, fresh tribunal or board decisions, and project commissioning. Do not reprint old figures as current. A legal clause should be cited to the amended statute; a financial statement to its dated government answer; a physical outcome to a dated project or audit report. This disciplined separation is the best protection against politically charged but imprecise exam material.
Worked example: For final revision, redraw the four-date timeline and three boxes: capital, special assistance and Polavaram. Under each, place the statutory provision, later implementation evidence and one likely exam trap. Check the current Gazette for amendments and official dashboards for project progress before test day. Keep a corrected answer log so later changes update only the affected facts.
Active recall: List five stable Act facts and five facts that need a fresh source near the exam date.
